Religious Views: Watching the real magic of nature helps too!
Activities: I'm a scientist of natural systems. In case some one is curious. I have some notion that everyone can learn to question what's happening around them like a naturalist, and use some simple scientific tricks for noticing developmental change about to happen in their own world, by just watching closely. It can be hugely informative to be able to watch how new and old relationships are changing. Watching developments can help expose the turning points, and it works because nature never "jumps" from one form of organization to another. Nature always takes time and goes through all the steps of development, and that lets you get a preview of where they are stepping. There's a certain basic set of steps that you can discover for nearly any kind of changing relationship, and learn a lot from. You can picture it as "¸¸¸¸.•´ ¯ `•.¸¸¸¸", the flow from beginning to end, and its turning points.

I thought it was rather late to leave a response to your comment regarding fear of being "inappropriate" to the whole group, as everyone's moved on. I've been unable to come to Discovery Fuel for a little while due to a fibromyalgia flare-up that prevents me from being online very long. Anyway, yes, I agree with you that most of us are usually afraid of being inappropriate because we are quite concerned with what others think of us, our "people-pleasing" or "ego" or whatever we choose to call it. In our society, I think, the sense of having to conform is very strong, and we learn this as little children. If one isn't like everyone else then one is ostracized. The catch is that even if one pretends to be like the others, to "fit in" so to say, it seems that others can sense the phoniness of that and still ostracize us. This is a problem I've had with our society since I was old enough to realize what was going on. But then, I suppose some degree of conformity is necessary for group survival. What do you think about all that?
