Okayyyyyyy ... I'm a member ... now what?
AND WHAT ARE "COMMUNITY DOMAINS" ANYWAY?
Domains are 'virtual' locations in our minds. As they evolve through our collaborative design efforts, they begin to act like a compass guiding the manifestation of earth-bound 'real' communities. (More on this below.)
There is a way for us to define pre-design boundaries that, when crossed or collided with, they generate interference patterns that create what we see and how we think; new forms of identity, so to speak. Not sure what I mean yet? No worries, keep going down the Rabbit (w)Hole with me and let's see what else we can find. Let your mind rebuild synaptic pathways by allowing frustration to be your guide rather than your obstacle.

DOMAIN DESCRIPTIONS
If you made it here, you either came out of curiosity from the main discussion forum topics. Or you had gone to a domain that interested you and you clicked on the link (who knows why!!) hoping for miracles, I guess. Either way, below is where you can read your domain's full description, as well as correlate it with the other domains within its triad grouping.
* NING BUG - You may have already noticed that the domain descriptions on each of their individual pages (click on any one) has been cut off because of a bug in Ning's software.
TRIAD GROUPINGS
Triads are done in order to link each domain so that no one domain stands alone. This means that every domain group will reach out to other domains in order to both receive and provide information. In general, it is this connection process that transforms a splattering of data into information and then into communication. This is actually a sacred evolutionary path toward higher awareness and consciousness, but I won't get into that here.
STRONG AND WEAK LINKS
We will be constantly seeking connections, both within and across domains. Two types of connection or linking will be sought - strong links and weak links. The strong links are defined as the triad groupings. They are connected due to their high potential for influence on one another. We will also be watching for weak link connections. But these can only be considered as a dynamic of our process as we engage and evolve our community of practice together.
SUSTAINABLE BY DESIGN
The concept of sustainability has been inherently included within the development of the domains. Another way to describe sustainability is to speak of it as the 'triple bottom line' or the '3E's of Economy, Ecology, and Equity. To link these concepts to sustainable design I have started a blurb on it called the 6 points of sustainable innovation. Take a peak as it will definitely influence how you create within your domain(s). You can see the interplay of the same 3E's within this (outdated) diagram of the domains as well as in the 8-gate process model for helping to move and manage activity within the domains.
TECHNOLOGY - as its own Domain? (See organizing concept for a technology council)
Finally, it is not clear yet how to apply the concept of appropriate technology (or as I like to say: 'sacred' technology). At first it feels to me that technology is an outcome of every domain so it is not really a domain so to speak. Certainly a primary attention on technology has to be placed on the idea of tools and weapons (artifacts of technology); two sides of the same coin. However, I would like technology to be discussed in every domain. Not just physical technology, but mental and energetic technologies as well (to know and to take form (physical, emotional, mental) from that awareness)
CREATION OF BOTH SUBJECTIVE (virtual) AND OBJECTIVE (real) COMMUNITIES
Domains are 'virtual' locations in our minds. As they evolve through our collaborative design efforts, they begin to act like a compass guiding the manifestation of earth-bound 'real' communities. Subjective communities are made of folks that join and engage in the domains as they are here on this site. Subjective communities (SubComs) exist in the realm of the 3I's ('I'nspire/'I'nnovate/'I'nvent) between inspiration (spirit) and innovation (mind). Objective communities are the physical communities that emerge based on both aligned values and/or geographical locations. They reflect the subjective domains (SubComs) within actual (real) living situations. Objective Communities (ObComs) exist in the realm of the 3I's as well, between innovation (mind) and invention (body (or form)). An important note is that 'virtual' and 'real' have no hierarchy in value over the other, as they are both different interdependent realms of Consciousness playing in the fields of the Great Universal Spirit.
More on all this later ... Let me know if you have input.
Please consider adding suggestions or comments about the below domains so that we can collectively evolve them into an advanced cohesive set that best defines a more whole system for innovating. I am especially interested in adding more powerful questions to each of the domains.

Principle: Reproduction affects community health, Preserve cultural, environmental, and knowledge diversity to ensure robust future;
Question: How does 'carrying capacity' impact community decision-making?
Domain 15 - Language and Metaphor (spirit)
Triad: Integration;
Principle: Language is the carrier of the Great Message. It is the transfer-bridge or connector from mind (innovation) down to body (invention). And Metaphor is the bridge from mind up toward spirit (inspiration). Both are vehicles for creating connection and integrity or integration. Everything has a voice, speaks a language, and is expressed through metaphor. It contains the Dance of Life; the vibration of Spirit impressing itself within Matter. As we move toward the next phase of consciousness, both Language and Metaphor will expand our ability to cross into the profound; that place we hold as Sacred - our Source.

Principle: Models generate structure. Currencies provide flow. All models are incorrect, yet each are useful as lenses for realizing a world that we want. Money (or currency) is a primary model we have created for representing interaction and exchange. At their deepest meaning, models and currencies are portals of our own Creation for connecting to each others Souls.
Question: How are today's models useful and how not? What do primary currencies provide communities and what not?
Domain 18 - Tools and Weapons
Triad: Exchange;
Principle: All technology is knowledge energy transformed into physical matter. It can both be a tool or weapon with choice defining the outcome;
Question: When does a weapon become a tool and visa versa?

Principle: Consciousness is bridge between Spirit and Matter. Creativity is catalyst that ignites the two into one.
Question: How do we lead ourselves down the same path that we are becoming?
Domain 21 - The (W)hole Community
Triad: Systemic;
Principle: Interdependent coordinated actions enable solutions for each domain, Social mythology emerges defining behavior and innovation, Also includes non-community;
Question: How does the whole express itself within each part?

Principle: Fractal Nature - Beyond our ability to think of Earth as a whole system, there is yet a larger system which we are embedded into. An egg in the womb of the Great Mother Universe.
Question: Are we ready to birth new beliefs? Can we allow 'awe' to be our guide?
